The wooden tower was spray painted silver so you can change it to any color of the rainbow! This look is great for a Mardi Gras look because it can be painted with multiple colors.

I used a simple plastic plate I purchased at the dollar store so I could easily drill two holes for the hanging votives.

I used two hanging votives but you may use four if you want more light.

All surfaces of the wood tower and plate should be primed, first for great paint coverage. If you use a primer with a similar color you will use less paint.
